Personal Application
This supplement is a heart-to-heart companion to the preceding two lessons — addressing your immediate personal needs and practical application of the truths studied.
The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven are distinct — and the Old and New Covenants operate on entirely different foundations. Getting these distinctions right changes how you read almost every passage in the Gospels and Epistles. This supplement helps you apply those distinctions practically.
Throughout our lessons and supplements, we've been showing you that God's plan for humanity is remarkably simple to understand. By now, you can see just how crystal clear the Bible really is on every subject it addresses.
You've probably marveled at how straightforward God's Word becomes when you read it literally, the same way you'd read any other book. For too long, this Book has been held up as some great mystery—supposedly so spiritual, so heavenly, and so supernatural that only a select few "specially anointed" teachers could possibly unlock its secrets.
But despite all the ways men have reinterpreted and changed it over the centuries, it remains a very simple, sensible, logical, and understandable book. Our eyes are opening now to the deceptions—both human and demonic—that have worked so hard to mystify and confuse sincere believers about what God plainly says regarding life now and in eternity.
The Will of God Made Plain
We've seen clearly that God's will for His children is that they receive from Him—and His abundant supply—everything they need in this life and the one to come. We've pointed out that God loves His own children infinitely more than we could ever love ours.
He gladly gives His children all the good things of life. His promises cover every known need—body, soul, and spirit—forever. His work in providing these benefits is already finished.
The only thing standing between any person and full enjoyment of these blessings is their own failure to take the revealed steps necessary to receive them.
No Excuse for Ignorance Possible
At this point, there's simply no excuse for not knowing. You now understand God's will and plan for your spiritual, physical, and material needs.
We've provided plenty of Scripture to prove and clarify what you need to know—if you genuinely desire to understand. You've been shown what God's will is and what your responsibility is in obtaining what you need for life.
No Excuse for Failure to Get What You Want
Likewise, there's no excuse for failing to receive what you want in life. If you understand God's simple plan for you and believe it, where is there room for failure?
Here are some honest questions to consider: Have you earnestly applied yourself? Are you truly convinced that God is faithful to His Word and won't fail to do what He promised?
Have you given your heart fully to God? Are you free from sin and destructive habits that create separation between you and Him?
Have you intelligently taken the steps we've clearly outlined for meeting your needs? Do you accept God's promises as true just because they're in the Bible, or do you believe them from the heart as personal words from God to you?
Have you set your face like flint, determined to receive these benefits regardless of opposition from people or demons? Have you fully resolved that you won't be denied—that nothing will hinder you from seeing these promises fulfilled?
This is your family right and gospel privilege as a child of God. So be bold to obtain grace and find help in your time of need Hebrews 4:14-16Hebrews 10:19-23.
You Have a Part to Do
Remember—you have a part to play in receiving the benefits Christ died to provide. The plan is simple. God's will has been revealed and made plain. You're no longer ignorant about what to do.
Mentally, you should recognize there's no excuse for failure if you'll obey the truth. But that's only the starting point. There must be definite action on your part.
You can't just give mental agreement to truth—you must act on it with all your heart, soul, and strength. You must take the necessary steps before you'll experience what you're seeking.
Every Problem of Your Life Can Be Solved
Let us state this again clearly: Every financial problem can be solved. Every burden on your heart can be rolled away. Every physical sickness, disease, and plague you're currently facing can be rebuked—and you can be made completely whole.
Every mental struggle and worry can be cleared up. Every spiritual lack can be supplied. Every degree of moral decay can be repaired. Every sin can be forgiven. Every destructive habit can be broken. Every sorrow can be healed.
Every need and want in your life can be met through faithful obedience to God's Word. No problem can remain with you for long if you'll fully seek God and turn your situation over to Him.
